Premier remodeler Cascade Restoration & Remodeling, partnering with Deb Seeley Designs, present their Entry for the 2018 Tour of Remodeled Homes. The project is a re-design of a master suite, den, dining and living room areas.
This house with its panoramic views, included a cramped and outdated bathroom, limited closet space and a den lacking storage and functionality. This Lake Oswego home was begging for a face lift.
Our clients’ desires were to add a tub, enlarge the shower, add functional storage throughout and of course, stay within budget.
To create necessary space for a soaker tub and curb-less shower, the existing wall separating the den and bathroom was relocated, and bathroom and bedroom closets were removed.
Recessed medicine cabinets housed over the floating vanity provides storage. White wavy shower wall tiles present an illusion of rippling water, and the floors are heated. A beautiful glass tile wall and Ocean Jasper Quartz counter tops finish this room creating a warm elegance.
Deb designed a walk-in closet with practical built in’s by claiming a hallway with limited closet space. Cascade Restoration’s craftsmanship rescued many of the existing doors by adding applied moldings and matching knobs to add continuity throughout all rooms. New windows were installed to match existing windows from a previous remodel.
The den involved removing the brick arch from the fireplace, resurfacing with rock veneer and completing the mantle. Cabinetry was designed with storage needs in mind. It created an inviting den and finally, a place for the printing machine!
We are excited to share this exceptionally beautiful transformation and also our expertise of 30+ years of professional craftsmanship and business.
