Realizing your home’s potential is often delayed by circumstance. Our lovely homeowners purchased an amazing house over a decade ago in Lake Oswego’s 1st Addition that oozed the Craftsman character they cherished but plagued by the inherent issues of older homes. Deciding to make due while raising their young child, the home suffered from deferred maintenance and after many years of “making it work” it was time to give their home the TLC it deserved and remodel it from top to bottom!

Now in a later phase of their lives, their goals centered around creating a comfortable home that included privacy during their child’s teenage years plus an expanded master bathroom just for them, as well as replacing the home’s failing mechanical systems. From the raw basement spaces to the original hardwood floors throughout, all three floors of this home were thoughtfully attended.

The main level features a fully remodeled hall bathroom while the kitchen refresh features updated appliances tucked smartly into the original footprint. Upstairs, the bathroom was greatly expanded to include a soaking tub, spacious shower, and double vanity transforming it into a true master bath. The basement was completely finished into a suite of separate spaces to provide flexible living options for the upcoming decades of their family’s life. The exterior received the same level of care by adding a large deck off the kitchen that connects to the new two car garage as well as new siding, roof, and shoring up the charming front porch to make the Craftsman character of the home shine!
